At Let’s Go Rideshare LLC, we are committed to protecting user privacy and providing a safe, reliable rideshare experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how users can request access, updates, account deletion, or data deletion.
Data We Collect
To provide and improve our services, we may collect the following information:
Personal Information:
Name, email address, phone number, user ID, address, profile details, and account information provided during registration, booking, verification, or account management.
Authentication Information:
Information used to create and access an account, including email/password sign-in, phone number verification, third-party sign-in, and device-based sign-in settings such as biometric sign-in after account creation.
Payment and Purchase Information:
Payment-related information, purchase history, transaction history, and billing details needed to process rides, subscriptions, discounts, refunds, or account records. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers in the app.
Trip and Usage Data:
Ride requests, pickup and drop-off locations, route information, ride duration, ride status, booking history, app interactions, in-app search activity, support activity, and in-app messages.
Location Data:
Approximate and precise location data, including real-time GPS location, used to match riders and drivers, support navigation, calculate routes, estimate arrival times, improve safety, and provide ride-related services.
Photos, Videos, Files, and Documents:
Profile photos, verification photos, identity or eligibility documents, student verification documents, service verification documents, and other files users upload for account, safety, or eligibility review.
Contacts:
If a user grants permission, we may access selected contact information such as names and phone numbers for features like trusted contacts, emergency contacts, family/guardian features, or booking support.
Device, App, and Performance Information:
Device identifiers, app version, operating system, IP address, notification tokens, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and security-related records.
How We Use Your Data
We use user data to:
Provide and operate rideshare services.
Create, verify, and manage user accounts.
Match riders and drivers.
Process ride requests, payments, receipts, refunds, and account records.
Provide safety, emergency, trusted contact, and verification features.
Enable location-based ride tracking, routing, ETA, and navigation.
Send service notifications, security alerts, support messages, and account updates.
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, safety incidents, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
Comply with legal, tax, payment, safety, dispute, and regulatory obligations.
Analyze app performance, diagnose bugs, fix crashes, and improve app reliability.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user personal data.
We may allow service providers to process data on our behalf only as needed to operate the app, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, authentication, storage, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, safety review, and fraud prevention.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, safety obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or with the user’s consent.
To provide rideshare services, limited ride-related information may be shown to the matched rider or driver, such as name, pickup/drop-off details, ride status, and contact options needed for the trip.
Safeguarding Your Data
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. Data is transmitted using secure connections. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user information and limit access to authorized purposes.
User Choices and Controls
Users may update account details through the app’s account or settings screens.
Users may manage device permissions, such as location, contacts, camera, photos, and notifications, through device settings.
Users may request access to their data, correction of inaccurate information, export of data, account deletion, or deletion of certain data as described below.
Account Deletion and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Let’s Go app account and associated personal data at any time.
In-app deletion request:
Users can request account and data deletion in the app by going to Settings, then Privacy Center, then selecting the deletion request option.
Web/email deletion request:
Users may also request deletion by emailing info@letsgors.com from the email address or phone number linked to their app account with the subject line: Delete My Account.
Users may request deletion of their entire account and associated data, or request deletion of certain data without deleting the entire account where available.
When we receive a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify account data associated with the user, including profile information, contact details, uploaded verification photos or documents, saved app data, device tokens, ride-related account records, app activity, and support records, unless retention is required or permitted for legitimate reasons.
Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, tax, payment, safety, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, chargeback, insurance, regulatory, or compliance purposes. Retained data will only be kept for as long as needed for those purposes.
Verified deletion requests are processed within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days, unless additional time is required by law, security review, dispute handling, or account verification.
Data Export Requests
Users may request a copy or export of their account data where available through the app’s Privacy Center or by contacting info@letsgors.com.
Children’s Privacy
Our platform is designed for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we collected data from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, safety practices, legal requirements, or app features. Significant updates may be communicated through the app, website, or email.
